Huntington National bank started a program called standby cash they offered me a line of credit at {$1000.00} beginning of XXXX. I used {$600.00} set up payments. The next week they dropped the line credit amount to {$250.00}! then reported to all credit bureaus that I was overutilizing my credit by 274 % this dropped my scores by 40 points! I am in the middle of purchasing a house. I called and made a complaint immediately, they said the system determines the amounts. The system can change the allotted credit amount. I had never heard back I call today, the supervisor says it states in documents when accept the line of credit can change. I would never have thought that they would decrease the line, then report me as negative and impact me in this way. I am infuriated and this is unfair credit reporting and practice.
