In early XXXX I accepted a XXXX XXXXXXXX credit card offer from Commerce Bank. The offer was for a {$150.00} cash back redemption to be applied to my credit statement within 6-8 weeks of making a purchase of over {$1000.00}. A purchase of {$1800.00} was made on XX/XX/XXXX, and I've made above the minimum payments since then, which was another condition of the offer. As of today, XX/XX/XXXX, I have not received my cash back redemption, which is around 18 weeks after I made the required purchase. I spoke with someone at the company on XX/XX/XXXX and was told a decision would be made within two business days. I have not heard back from them and according to my account, I have not been awarded XXXX points ( the equivalent of {$150.00} ) or had my account balance lowered by the promised {$150.00}. I sent an email to the contact on their website on XX/XX/XXXX, and someone named XXXX XXXX responded with the following message : " Upon consulting with a separate credit card area, we have been advised that XXXX Reward points have been manually added to your account. '' That has not happened. I brought this to his attention and he has not responded. My guess is that they plan to award the points only after I've paid my balance down below {$150.00}, thus forcing me to redeem the points for a one of their gift card offerings instead of actually applying this amount to my balance.
