I was Denied a {$400000.00} VA Mortgage Application with Veterans United Home Loans Application # XXXX and Loan # XXXX on XX/XX/2021 within 2 days of application. Reasons for denial provided " via voicemail '' were that XXXX & XXXX XXXX Income were not sufficient income alone for approving the loan regardless of VA Certificate of Eligibility, 810 ( 3 ) Bureau Beacon Score and {$120000.00} of cash down payment. I guess I should have known better to apply for a VA Home Loan without a Job but I have an email inbox FULL of Negative Job Hiring Decisions from Government & Private Employment Applications. So, I tried anyway. They also said " when your situation changes, please give us a call ''. Now, I have a " lower Beacon Score '' because of the big " inquiry '' on my credit report. Why couldn't they " pre-qualify '' me without an inquiry? I thought that was one of my rights with a VA Loan. How many other VA Lenders should I try? I will have to get a job 1st I guess which is easier said than done.
