I sent in a police report and FTC letter to the credit bureaus XXXX or XX/XX/XXXX. Capital One was deleted from my report. However, Capital One put the card back on my report. I called Capital One to get an explanation. They said they validated the account was mine. I told Capital One I think a family member stole my Identity and applied for cards in my name and at my address. Capital One said they validated the debt as mine. In XXXX or XX/XX/XXXX I called them back. They told me I had to pay the balance, and that they could not help me. I set up a payment plan because It was affecting my score badly. Capital One would not do a pay for delete after asking. In XXXX or XX/XX/XXXX I called Capital One to get it deleted again. They refused. I called the credit bureaus XX/XX/XXXX to try to get it deleted again, and the credit bureaus told me capital One put a cap on the account to keep me from disputing the information ever again for it to be deleted.
