On XX/XX/2019 i paid XXXX XXXX nm branch of regional finance amount of XXXX dollars to pay off my loan they gave me a receipt that was for my final payment supposedly the person on the receipt that took my payment was a person by the name of XXXX XXXX. I didn't think of it at the time i was happy to pay off my account. As i have with several other loan company 's that i work with. And several months later i start getting collection Calles and notices that i have an unpaid amount of $ $ $?? So i contact the company regional finance no longer located in XXXX XXXX nm XXXX that is now in XXXX XXXX nm. I questioned them asked why they say i still owe. They stat I didnt pay. I say i did and my receipt says the person who took my payment was some XXXX XXXX and the person on the phone says oh that's me but my name is XXXX. So i said ok well i paid you on the date stated above. Long story short said i didnt pay and that someone gave me a fake receipt. I still have a copy of my receipt that i submitted to regional finance and they still rebuttaled i didnt pay. With different stories that started confusing me this company needs to be shut down for destroying my credit and my self worth of always paying my debts. I will not pay another penny over the amount ive already paid. Need this fixed it was given to a debt collection agency and i have shown them my receipt also by email and they are still after me for wrong doing of regional finance.
