On XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX I sent Transunion a letter to get the the validity of the bankruptcy reporting on my credit report. They responded with a letter stating that they verified the information through XXXX XXXX. I went directly to XXXX XXXX to dispute this item and XXXX XXXX could not verify this item, so they deleted it from their own database. Then I went back to Transunion on XXXX XXXX XXXX as well as XX/XX/ and showed them that the bankruptcy had been deleted from XXXX XXXX informing them that if they could not reveal how they verified this item then it needed to be taken off my credit file according to the FCRA. Then of course once again Transunion verified it and refused to delete this bankruptcy. This bankruptcy has impeded my ability to purchase a home especially in the market that we have right now and is causing me to pay thousands more in interest per year as long as it has been on my report. Which has been since about XXXX This item needs to be deleted from my credit report if it can not be verified within 30 days.
