Consumer Narrative

I'm only XXXX years old and I've never applied for a credit card. I figured that it's time to start building my credit so I applied to the Discover it secured credit card on XX/XX/XXXX. When I got the I got the letter in the mail a week later, it stated that I wasn't approved with a credit score of XXXX. I've never had, nor used credit card before, so I was worried. I didn't know who to talk to as far as this issue until my mom and dad told me, which is why I'm filling out this complaint a month later.
