I am XXXX XXXX and went on forbearance during Covid19. Mr. Cooper approved my forbearance and said I didn't need to worry about making my mortgage payments. I was on unemployment collecting {$2000.00} a month. Now that my forbearance is done, I called and applied for loan modification and was denied because they couldn't lower my payment, that's what they told me. I told them I am not looking for lowering my monthly payment, I am back to work and can pay higher amount, I have asked for deferment of the past due, I have asked for payment plan, and I have asked for loan modification. I have even offered to pay {$30000.00} towards the past due amount. and all of this was refused and I was told sell my house or they will foreclose. I am currently behind {$75000.00} in mortgages payments. My last letter to Mr. Cooper asked if I can pay {$30000.00} towards the past due and if they can divide the rest into 12 months. or defer it. Today they told me that was denied as well.
