Consumer Narrative
I lost my wallet and my information was also released in multiple breaches. I also was a victim of the XXXX Credit Breach. My identifying information was also found on the black market and I had reason to believe that an ex-boyfriend used my information. I placed a fraud alert on my credit in an attempt to stop fraudulent accounts from being opened that didn't stop fraudulent credit inquires from being put on my report. Typically companies take 30 days to do an investigation mine are all completed by the next business day saying that the information is factual. So XXXX is intentionally breaking the law by not actually looking into my disputes and again breaking the law by continuing to report fraudulent activity on my report that is hurting my credit score. I filed a police report in XXXX, AL. The police report number is XXXX. I want these inquiries removed per the FCRA standards for credit reporting. I had no control over the situation nor did I contribute in any way. My next line of action will be to file a formal lawsuit against XXXX. I would also like my complaint and contact information public for individuals who are also being treated unjustly by this credit bureau. I didn't and couldn't file a complaint about every inquiry. I have also attempted to file disputes with XXXX and Experian. With Experian acknowledging some of the inquiries as fraud but denying others. I can not control when a fraudulent inquiry is added to my report. Furthermore, these companies should have enough sense to not run my credit multiple times for the same company on the same day, that alone should tell you that it is fraudulent information on my credit report. 1. Because I didn't want to waste my time and this company isn't doing their due diligence 2. They are saying they verified the information within 24hrs. On some disputes, there are 10-15 companies listed and they are still claiming to have verified the information 3. Inquiries they have claimed where factual has been removed by the inquiring company because they found it to be a fraudulent inquiry.
