My name is XXXX XXXX I am reaching out to the Dept. of Education and Immediate Credit Recovery. Account # XXXX I have written all 3 credit bureaus and Immediate Credit Recovery about placing my student long account in forbearance or deferment because of the Covid-19. Everyone else in the United States and my friends all their student loans were place in forbearance or deferred but mind is still reporting as Charge Off and my credit scores with no job. I can not get a place to stay because I am not working and my credit because of these student long reporting as Charge Off is ruining my life. I am asking and pleading the Dept. of Education and Immediate Credit Recovery who I didn't even know had my student loan in collection. I never received a letter until XX/XX/2021 after I wrote to the credit bureaus and Dept. of Education. I talk to my Attorney General 's Office they told me to write this letter to CFPB asking both the Dept. of Education and Immediate Credit Recovery to place my student loan in deferment or forbearance. Until I can get a job and place to stay. Also, my Attorney General 's Office said that Immediate Credit Recovery can not collect in the state of California because it is not license or have a registered agent. They are validating Federal and State laws along with FCRA Sec. 605 ( c ) and FDCPA Sec. 807 ( 8 ) & Sec. 805 ( c ). As a consumer I am suppose to be afforded protection under these laws. This causing me not be credit worth of any new credit or to get a place to live. I highly appreciate that you can assist in either removing this off my credit or update as current.
