In XX/XX/2021, I responded to an email from Wells Fargo and informed them that I am ready to leave the COVID Homeowners Forbearance program. I requested the FHA homeowners mortgage refinance option, and was verbally approved for that plan. I was informed that the closing would occur in XXXX. Wells Fargo would prepare the closing documents and a notary public would contact me to arrange for signature and to leave copies. As of XX/XX/2021 nothing else has happened. I have spoken with and emailed the home ownership representative several times and have been assured that all is well with the loan. However, She does not know why the closing has not occurred. I understand that Wells Fargo is undergoing some leadership changes. The company is also dealing with several legal challenges. I am afraid that my mortgage refinance has gotten lost in the shuffle. Please help.
