My mortgage servicing company is XXXX. My escrow was due to be paid on XX/XX/XXXX. It was not paid. My insurance broker from XXXX XXXX called the company to find out what was happening as my taxes and insurance come out of my monthly payment. They told him they sent the escrow check out to XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. Today I received a letter from XXXX dated XX/XX/XXXX stating they had not received my payment and would cancel my policy if the payment wasn't received by XX/XX/XXXX. I spoke to the customer service dept at XXXX and also went online to my account and found that the escrow payment was sent out XX/XX/XXXX. I asked the representative if that payment would arrive at the insurance company by the XXXX of XXXX and she stated it would. However, with the state of the USPS, my insurance representative thought it best to give me an extension. I pay my mortgage bill on time and I expect that the money to complete my taxes and insurance will be sent on time. In all the years I have had mortgages not ONCE have I had to explain to my insurance company why the payment is late
