On XX/XX/2021, I visited an XXXX store in XXXX, New Jersey. I was interested in financing the purchase of a new XXXX. I submitted an application, however, the application was declined. I received an email from the bank informing me that there was unsatisfactory experience with a creditor. upon checking my XXXX XXXX report, I have noticed that there are a total of XXXX negative marks on my credit file. I submitted a complaint against XXXX XXXX for an accurate information. On XX/XX/XXXX, I spoke with a representative from the bank, who informed me that Equifax held the specific information, and that I would need to deal with them. I again reviewed the information contained in my XXXX XXXX file for Equifax, and found no negative information. As a consumer, it is very disheartening to find out that there is information being hidden from me, and is causing me to be declined for credit. on previous occasions, I have asked each of the credit bureaus to provide evidence of a valid negative death, to which they have either not responded, or simply not provided the requested information. as a consumer, it is extremely frustrating to know that I have to continuously pay for credit monitoring services, or the ability to receive my credit report, in order to receive all information. The credit bureaus claim that I have the right to know what information is in my credit file, so why is information being hidden from me, or being placed behind a pay wall. According to my XXXX XXXX file, I have no late payments with any financial institution. I have a 100 % on time payment history with all of my creditors.
