XXXX XXXX XXXX / Rep name : XXXX The above company called two family/friends ( that I know about ) trying to get a hold of a XXXX XXXX. That was my maiden name. However, I do not have any debt or student loan for that matter. I verified with them with my full name and last 4 of my social security number and address. I asked who else they called trying to get a hold of me and they refused to tell me. I should have EVERY right to know who they contacted trying to get a hold of me. This is outright embarrassing and not okay to have my family and friend call me telling me a debt collector was looking for me! I work very hard to keep my credit clean. This company did not do their due diligence on the person they were trying to reach. It was clearly not me. A simple search would have told them that. I want to report their practices and I want to know who else they called on my behalf since they refused to tell me. I consider this harassment. Especially since the person they were looking for was clearly not me!
