On XX/XX/2018 I leased a truck from Ford credit for 36 months for a monthly payment of {$570.00} per month which INCLUDED my NY sales tax. Due to COVID there are no new trucks to lease so have to extend my lease. Now Ford credit is insisting I have to pay an extra {$49.00} per month for ny sales tax IN ADDITION to the {$52.00} I am ALREADY PAYING in my monthly payments. I have called several times, spoke to several people at Ford credit no one can explain WHY I have to pay double taxes and they have no written explanation. However they insist I have to pay it. I spoke to ny state sale tax authority and they told me this is completely wrong.
