Sunset Finance sent a loan offer via live check through the mail for a {$69000.00} loan around XX/XX/2016. According to my bank account records, that loan was accepted and check deposited on XXXX. The terms were most likely for 12 months at a ridiculous APR based on the rule of XXXX installment loan repayment model. My bank documents and check register show I paid {$100.00} on XXXX, {$100.00} on XXXX, and to pay off the loan in full early paid {$590.00} on XXXX. Instead of applying the last payment to pay account in full, Sunset Finance used that payment to apply monthly payments for several months fo which I received no statements of any kind. And after the funds I paid were used to their benefit, they began to call and even come by my home requesting payment. I went to the business and spoke with the supervisor at the time and even called the headquarters in my area to dispute their request for more payments. I had to threaten to take the issue to a higher financial or business authority. After all was said and done, I DID NOT PAY ADDITIONAL FUNDS AND MY ACCOUNT WAS MARKED PAID IN FULL. I just found out recently that Sunset Finance reported my account as a delinquency of 60 plus days to XXXX. I disputed the information with XXXX and their " investigation '' claimed the information was accurate. I vehemently deny any reportable delinquency for this aged account and would like it removed from my credit report.
