Within the following months and years : XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, Lakeview Loan Servicing LLC reported to XXXX, XXXX and XXXX that I made a payment 30 days late. I didn't realize how much the reported information was affecting my quality of life until I realized that my efforts to reduce the interests rates on current loans and attempts to refinance my home to obtain a lower interest rate and obtain equity from my home were met with denials and/or higher costs because of the information that Lakeview Loan Servicing reported to XXXX XXXX and XXXX.The information is considered derogatory information. After trying numerous activities ( i.e. hiring credit repair companies to assist me with improving my credit score with no luck ) I started trying to figure out how to improve my credit score by myself. This endeavor caused me to stumble upon the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) written by Congress. After reading the FCRA I realized that Lakeview Loan Servicing LLC violated my consumer rights by reporting that I made a payment 30 days late without informing me that they were going to report this information to XXXX XXXX and XXXX and providing me with an opportunity to opt out of having that information reported. Upon learning the latter information ( in addition to a host of other information regarding procedures consumer reporting agencies must follow when furnishing a credit report ) I called Lakeview Loan Servicing LLC on XX/XX/XXXX and spoke to a Supervisor regarding removing the reported late payments from my credit report with XXXX XXXX and XXXX. The supervisor informed me that he would look into the matter. I then received a letter from Lakeview Loan Servicing LLC dated XX/XX/XXXX and it stated that an investigation was conducted regarding the information reported by LakeView Loan Servicing LLC to XXXX XXXX and XXXX and the information reported was deemed accurate. I attempted to contact Lakeview again to discuss the letter I received however I was told by a representative that I would need to send any issues I had to Lakeview Loan Servicing LLC 's mailing address. On XX/XX/XXXX I mailed Lakeview Loan Servicing ( via certified mail ) a Cease and Desist Letter demanding that the late payments be removed based on the information being in violation of processes and procedures of the FCRA, an Affidavit of Truth outlining how the reported information violated the FCRA, exhibits reflecting the information being on my XXXX XXXX and XXXX credit reports and the document Lakeview Loan Servicing LLC sent to me regarding the issue and an Invoice outlining the remedy I wish to receive for the adverse actions that I endured for more than 2 years as a result of the FCRA violations Lakeview Loan Servicing LLC violated by reporting that I made a payment 30 days late to XXXX XXXX and XXXX on the above mentioned dates. To date I have not received any response from Lakeview Loan Servicing LLC and the 30 day late payments are still being reflected on my credit reports from XXXX XXXX and XXXX.
