I have been paying Plaza Services, LLC for many months now without knowing they are a collections agency. I was told via phone converstion that they were collecting the payment to be given to the original creditor, a company called " XXXX XXXX ''. I agreed to the monthly payments because they told me that they would not put this on my credit report since I would be paying the original creditor. This was a lie! I looked at my credit report and it shows a collections company called Plaza Services, LLC. I didn't know who they were since I didn't suspect I had anything in collections. I ended up recognizing the monthly payments I've been making. This is how I found out it was a collections company. I never received any offical correspondence informing me of who they were and what my balance was. It was all done via threatening phone calls. I agreed to pay to not have any negative remarks on my credit report on the phone. That was the pressure they used to get me to agree to give them my account information to take out monthly payments. They are still taking these payments out every months and on the credit report it shows a balance owed that is more that what was owed to the original creditor. They are ripping me off!
