I made a complaint against Lanier collection agency and their response was the debt belongs to XXXX XXXX, This response further proves my point of their unethical and deceptive practices. I am not XXXX XXXX so therefore the debt is invalid and needs to be removed off of my credit report. I already spoke with an attorney and by your own admission you have confessed to putting an debt on my credit report on purpose. You have 10 days to remove this incorrect balance and to cease and desist in your attempts to collect a debt not owed by me. Further more you are to remove the XXXX for account number XXXX from off my credit report or the next letter you receive will be from my lawyer. Also I never refused a letter of debt validation, let the record reflect that I have resided at the same address for 6 years and the company has never sent me a debt verification because they know the debt isnt mine. I have enclosed my proof for your records. As you can see the account number does not match the final bill from XXXX
