I strongly believe Amerihome Mortgage company is committing mortgage fraud and misusing funds in numerous borrowers escrow accounts. This is the second time in XXXX years my mortgage has fluctuated because they misused funds and are holding me account for their mistake. I received a letter in XX/XX/2021 that I was behind in escrow. I called and the mortgage company assured me since its their mistake that they will correct it and I wont be held accountable. I attempted my payment and they never corrected the issue and expect me to pay for the misused funds. I am a XXXX veteran and I dont pay any property taxes and we switched our home insurance and it went down a significant amount so I am not understanding why there is a negative balance and no one can explain it. The customer service representative said we see this kind of thing all the time and if that is the case Amerihome needs examined closely to find why they cant handle funds properly.
