My vehicle was falsely repossessed by my apartment complex, I was out of town on business and came back to it gone. The apartment will not reimbursement the fees I had to pay and the lender, XXXX, has listed it as a repossession due to non-payment. My car has been paid continuously and ON TIME. They refuse to remove the information! The information reporting for this auto loan is completely false. Payments were made on the account as scheduled. My apartment complex wrongfully had my car towed when I went out of town for three ( 3 ) days because they said it had not moved from where it had been parked. The apartment complex claims that they did not have it towed but a towing company isn't going to just randomly drive into a complex and tow a car away. I have proof that my payments were being made and that they were on time, this was not a situation where the lender repossessed my car for non-payment. I am enclosing documentation to confirm that the information that I am stating in this correspondence to you is true. Please remove the notation that this was a repo on my credit report because it was not. My payments were never late and this situation had nothing to do with my loan but an issue with my apartment complex.
