I received letter dated XX/XX/XXXX, related to student loan debt from XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX Co, XXXX. Within 30 days, or on XX/XX/XXXX. I wrote to them to let them know that I disputed the loan was past due. To date, I have not heard from them. The same date, XX/XX/XXXX, the loan was reported to XXXX credit bureau as a collection account. I made several attempts and provided documentation to XXXX to get the collection status removed as I had it removed in the past with previous debt collectors. XXXX representative XXXX XXXX XXXX, on XX/XX/XXXX XXXX stated that they could not provide me with information on how the debt was verified and that my option to contact Customer Financial Protection Bureau. I would greatly appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue. I was paying the loan as agreed and fell behind because of my ongoing divorce matter. The payment sent was returned to me while I have another student loan that is current in payment with the same lender, XXXX XXXX. Sincerely,
