After reviewing your letter which I attached from your company, Equifax, stating why you have refused to block the fraudulent information from my credit report I found it very interesting. Your company said in accordance with Section 605B of the FCRA you have determined not to block this fraudulent information subject to the submitted identity theft report and/or police report that I provided. That decision is not up to you, you only have the right to deny or rescind a block if there was a misrepresentation of material fact relevant to the request to block, or I have obtained possession of goods, services, or money as a result of the transaction issue. This request was not made in error. I, XXXX XXXX, did not make this request in error. I also did not receive any goods, services, or money as a result of the transaction issue. I also sent the report which I have made with the Federal Trade Commission with my original letter, which I have attached to this complaint, and that is certainly not a misrepresentation of material fact being that these accounts are in fact fraudulent. So, please explain exactly why this fraudulent information has not been blocked from my credit report? The reason that you have listed does not apply so I can only believe that your company is purposely reporting this fraudulent information to my credit report which is an act of constructive fraud. So pursuant to 15 USC 1681c-2 and the fact that your company has clearly lied, your company, Equifax now has 4 business days after receiving this complaint to block and remove these fraudulent accounts. Please review the attached copy of 15 USC 1681c-2 of the FCRA for your recollection. Thank you
