a bought something from XXXX that was shorted and damaged. i sent back what was sent to me. i was never refunded the full amount and disputed with comenity bank. this bank failed to do a dispute but decided to keep calling and hounding me for a payment and reported it to my credit bureaus. after many calls with XXXX and the third party seller not responding to emails i finally threatened legal action and got XXXX XXXX. XXXX admitted this shouldn't of went this far and the bank should of never put negative remarks on credit report. XXXX XXXX finally gave a refund but credit score was already hurt. comenity violated the fair credit reporting act and also has failed to reply to emails and 2 certified letters sent to there XXXX ohio offices.
