My name is XXXX XXXX XXXX. I would like to submit a complaint about a lawsuit against me from Discover credit card company regarding a fraudulent amount of {$2500.00} dollars. The actual amount that I owed is {$1000.00} dollars, not {$2500.00}. I called Discover credit card company to make payment arrangements for the original actual amount of {$1000.00}, but they made some excuse for not to lower the amount. If they allowed me to explain further I wouldve explained to them is the reason I stopped paying was due to the fact that I had to quit my job to take care of my grandma. Initially my mother was taking care of my grandma until my mom got XXXX. After her XXXX my mother was no longer able to take care of my grandma, so I had to step up and help out.
