Opened TIAA checking in mid 2021. Made opening deposit on XX/XX/2021. Resolved an error in the application and corrected Social Security Number. Account was approved. Set up online access. Several days later, TIAA blocked online access. An email was received XX/XX/2021, from XXXX XXXX, " Senior Fraud Analyst, '' who asked me to call. I called and spoke to a different fraud analyst. He stated he could not see the problem and that XXXX would call me back. I never received a call from TIAA clarifying any problem. Rather, it simply blocked my account. 1. I can not access my transactions and statements in violation of the Truth in Savings Act that requires periodic statements for bank accounts. 2. TIAA obviously accessed databases in their decision to take an adverse action against me, violating the Fair Credit Reporting Act as they neither notified me of the adverse actions, reasons the actions were taken, or the identity of the consumer reports they obtained and how it is possible for me to obtain a report. 3. TIAA improperly will not allow me to access my account or the funds I deposited.
