Through XXXX, I received a FCRA Disclosure from Transunion which contains significant, incorrect information causing my insurance rates to increase 15 %. There is likely other adverse results of this incorrect reporting that I have not discovered yet. I tried calling Transunion as indicated on the notice but they provide no help whatsoever. I did have a bankruptcy which was discharged in XX/XX/2020 and having worked in the XXXX XXXX industry for 30+ years I am more familiar with credit issues than most and take responsibility for my issues. Transunion is reporting to XXXX the following which is incorrect and resulting in higher rates : -Credit history is too short. This is impossible as I have had credit in some form or another for approximately 30 years and had a credit score of roughly XXXX going into my bankruptcy. I filed for BK for preventative reasons not for bad credit reasons. -Too many accounts that are 30+ days delinquent. Since my unsecured debts was discharged in the BK process, I have no past due accounts, period. -Excessive number of bank revolving accounts. I have one credit card, how this would be determined excessive is beyond my understanding. I am trying to responsibly restore my credit rating and it irritates me that Transunion is causing me financial harm by reporting incorrect information and I need some assistance.
