XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX was called out to my townhouse, which is a rental, to work on the shower in my master bath ( XXXX and XXXX, my property management company, was XXXX XXXX XXXX 's contact for me ). Their invoice states that they worked on the " shower valve body - pipe mods '' and apparently gained access to the plumbing by breaking out the tile around the faucet. The work was billed at {$550.00}. The work was so shoddy that the tenant could not take a shower because it was leaking and the hole created when they broke out the tile around the faucet was so unnecessarily large there were open gaps around the shower faucet. In order to correct the problem, I had to hire another plumber ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX who charged me {$340.00} ) to repair the faucet enough for the tenant to be able to use the shower. In XXXX XXXX ' statement they say " The customer ( myself ) had other person install valve and broke tile. Shower trim does not completely cover hole in tile. '' To keep water from leaking down behind the wall, we had to cover it with duct tape as a temporary fix. I tried calling XXXX XXXX XXXX at XXXX several times on XX/XX/21 and no one picked up so was unable to leave a message. I also tried emailing XXXX, provided my email, phone number and the invoice no. and asked that someone contact me regarding the work. I've never heard anything back from the company. The only contact has been recently from a creditor ( Recovery Solutions Group , LLC ) with a letter dated XX/XX/21 and then a phone call today, XX/XX/21 ( they left a message ). I don't believe this company should receive payment for such poor quality work.
