Mortgage loan was in forbearance. I was told repeatedly by company personnel that there would be no negative credit reporting if the forbearance was satisfied by XX/XX/2021. I actually wrote a letter requesting an extension for 45 days. The extension was given until XX/XX/2021 via letter from XXXX XXXX, Customer Relations Specialist. I subsequently paid off the forbearance in full on XX/XX/2021. On XX/XX/2021 the company reported to the credit bureaus that I was delinquent over 180 days, the entire sum of the forbearance was delinquent and I had a loan modification!! In addition the principal balance of the loan was in error. It dropped my credit score XXXX points overnight!!!
