I applied and was approved for a VA home loan with Veterans United Home Loans, and Im currently in the middle of a chapter XXXX bankruptcy but I met all the requirements of the VA and VU. Then a day or so later, I had a conversation with my loan XXXX about why I wanted to move from the XXXX and aside from employer giving me a promotion requiring me to move, I stated that I wanted to get to a more diverse area, as it pertains to race relations. A few days later, my loan XXXX questioned me about a clerical error on two payments in XXXX 2020. The attorney handling my case gave me a incorrect payment amount which was off by {$10.00}. The error was caught two months later and the monies were paid i.e. {$20.00} immediately to bring the plan current. The lender said because of that, they couldn't proceed with giving me a loan because of the VA guidelines. I contacted the law firm and they advised me that the attorney that made the error is no longer employed there, but they were willing to draft a letter explaining that the error was no fault of mine. The lender refused to acknowledge the mistake from the law firm. I then contacted the VA regional loan center and gave them all documentation and after their review, they determined that the mistake wasn't mine, and they would guarantee the loan. Said lender still refuses to grant me said loan. This is a time sensitive matter because my employer has offered me a promotion requiring me to relocate to XXXX ; hence the home loan need. I have to report to XXXX by labor day.
