XX/XX/XXXX - The XX/XX/XXXX payment was reported as " late. '' This caused a 45-point decrease in my score in the MIDDLE OF MY HOME PURCHASE. Upgrade admitted fault ( after many, many calls and emails. ) The issue was corrected in about 10 days. This almost cost me my new home. XX/XX/XXXX - I paid off the loan in XX/XX/XXXX and on XX/XX/XXXX the same XX/XX/XXXX payment was reported as LATE. This caused a 40-point decrease in my scores. I just so happened to have purchased a new vehicle in the beginning of XXXX. Unbeknownst to me, the reason why I didn't get the preferred rate from my bank was because the late payment was already reported to the bureaus. I did not know this until after the fact and too late to discuss with my bank. None of this showed on my credit reporting apps prior to me purchasing my car ... .I would have waited. This is costing me thousands over the course of my loan. I should have a 3.3 % rate and had to accept a 5.25 % rate! I haven't missed ONE payment on ANYTHING in YEARS! I want compensated ... my bank XXXX XXXX XXXX will not refinance for at least a year. This has been a horrible experience and has caused me so much grief. NOT TO MENTION>>.. NO ONE at Upgrade will ever call me back!! I have had to call them SIX Times! I got the attached email that it can take 60 days for this to be corrected ... I may need to help my parents with a big purchase very soon ... I can't if my scores are not corrected! Please HELP!
