On or about XX/XX/2021, I called NMAC and was told third-party dealers were allowed to buy out leases. I attempted to sell my leased car to XXXX, but was told Nissan no longer allows third-party buyouts. Nissan has historically allowed other dealers to buy out leases, but has instituted a new policy and essentially changed the terms of my lease. It was allowed at the time of my lease, and are now taking advantage of the pandemic to strongarm leaseholders into car dealers to accept lower values than the market would allow otherwise.
