Consumer Narrative
XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX After having asked for verification of the debt, that was never provided the third party debt collector changed the comment to say that it has been assigned to an attorney. This is a threat of legal action that they can not take or intend to take. This is a clear violation of the fair debt collection practices act, and they must be blocked from further credit reporting immediately and indefinitely. Cease all collection attempts including but not limited to credit reporting. Have a nice day.
