This complaint is against Lexus Financial who is financing my car loan. First lets start with the high interest rate I was given 14.9 % which later this high interest rate was part of a class action lawsuit. I paid this loan for six years in good standing and my credit report shows this ... I paid down to the last payment which was the maturity payment a big ballon payment deriving from high interest and deferred payment. Now thru this pandemic I was not given any special help due to the pandemic. I was furlough in XX/XX/XXXX and was laid off in XX/XX/XXXX due to the pandemic so I was told this maturity amount of {$4000.00} was due by XX/XX/XXXX. I was told I could pay this out and dont have to worry about paying all this off by the due date as long as I continue to pay every month. I was not told that each month I carry this balance this would be reported to the credit bureau and would affect my credit. I spoke to an executive in the CEO office and was told that the Rep I spoke to stated they would coach that individual because the representative fail to provide me with all the necessary information I needed that I could have had a different outcome. Now due to the negative reporting to my credit it has placed an unpreventable financial hardship during this pandemic. This egregious treatment from Lexus also violated my consumer rights under FCRA surrounding the accuracy and fairness of what is being reported to the consumer credit agencies by Lexus Financial.
