On XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/2021, I sent communication to Transunion and XXXX asking for a collection account to be investigated. The account is with XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have requested from the creditor documents validating this debt several times, as I am not aware where this came from .I sent in proof several times that this creditor is not validating the debt because they are not informing me as to how it was obtained. They have sent me several communications stating that the original creditor believes it is valid. When asked to send me proof of this account. XXXX on 3 occasions sent me a 2 page bill that displayed no information as to what the charges are for. Also XXXX was reporting conflicting information between the credit bureaus. I sent this information to the reporting agencies and they only updated the information to match. Transunion and XXXX both failed to properly validate this debt. I have not been informed by neither XXXX, Transunion, nor XXXX on how this debt was obtained nor where it came from. When I called Transunion I was told that they have just started my dispute on XX/XX/2021, that is one month after my certified mail receipt shows it was delivered. Once I advised the rep that I had proof it was received by them on XX/XX/2021, he then changed the story that the investigation was completed and that they updated the information. This information is damaging my character and causing me a great deal of stress. I am trying to purchase a home and this is stopping me.
