On XX/XX/XXXX, I tried to unfreeze my credit reporting with Equifax, online. Their system wouldn't let me complete the process. I then tried to complete this over the phone with the same results. There was no option to speak with a person. It stated that I was to mail in my request with SS card and Drivers license ( I was unconfortable doing this in the mail but, I did ). I have not heard from them confirming whether or not it has been unfrozen. I have the pin number issued when I froze my account but, was never asked to provide it. I feel that I have the information ( Pin # ) given when account frozen but Equifax is making it difficult to readily access the information crucial in operating in this information age ( like I'm being held XXXX ).
