My wife and I applied for credit through Foundation Finance Company, LLC for Home Improvement project. Foundation Finance, LLC has placed a lien against my homes title which is not described as the goods or services received in the contract, it states ; SECURITY INTEREST : You grant us a security interest in the goods purchased by you and described on the first page of this Contract ( the Collateral ) as well as all accessions to and proceeds of those goods. Our security interest secures your performance of all obligations under this Contract and any extensions, renewals or modifications of it. On our request, you will take any reasonable action to preserve the Collateral or our security interest in it. You will maintain the Collateral in good condition, not permit its value to be impaired and keep it free from liens and encumbrances prior in right to ours. You will not sell, lease or dispose of Collateral without our written permission. No where in my contract states my home is ( the collateral ) for the purpose of this line of credit. The goods and or services received is XXXX roofing, siding tr according to my contract.
