Refined our home in XXXX Our Mortgage complay ( XXXX XXXX ) incorrectly reported our last payment as late. After contacting XXXX regarding their error, they submitted a reversal to Equifax. Equifax not only refused to assist us, they turned around and dropped our credit scores by XXXX points each. I sent all the documentation needed to support that this was an error. XXXX XXXX also sent a letter re-tracking there inaccurate reporting and request our credit report be adjusted back to the original scores prior to the inaccurate info being submitted. This has caused a financial nightmare for both of us, ( downgrade in credit, insurance rate skyrocketed ). The other 2 reporting agencies corrected our credit reports but equifax refuses to help us. My credit score prior to the error was XXXX my wifes was XXXX.
