I have a Capital One credit card for about 4-5 years and have other credit cards as well. In the past 3 years, I have other credit cards, such as XXXX, XXXX, XXXX and XXXX XXXX and in those past years, I have been getting credit limit increases all the time without a problem since I have excellent credit. As being a Capital One customer for about 13 years, I would feel that they would give it to me with no problem. That is not the case. I have been declined 11 times in the past 3 years for every reason possible, to ; not enough experience with current credit line, which I had for over 3 years already, not enough payment to the account, which I pay way above the minimum payment and too many obligations, which I do, but my debt to income ratio is very low and I feel disgusted that they throw any excuse not to raise my credit limit. I have called multiple times about this and Capital One response is that they can't do anything, it's too bad. Now, I feel this is discrimination, in that they just don't care about me and ignoring the facts that I have excellent credit, excellent payment history and enough experience and they throw every excuse at me and now I feel this is discrimination. If this is not resolved, I will close all my checking, savings and all my other accounts with them since they do not value me as a good customer.
