I spoke with two representatives today on XX/XX/2021, with Professional Finance Company in XXXX, CO. The first rep provided me with the file number # XXXX and maintained adamantly that I owed this debt. I attempted to call the original creditor, and was promptly informed that the balance showed {$0.00} owed. I then called back Professional Finance Company and spoke to another rep. She indicated that somehow they sent me a letter back in XXXX at my new address, and that she would not be able to issue me a new letter until I requested one in writing. According to FCRA they have to provide written correspondence when the consumer requests it. They also can not continue to contact me via phone if I've requested such. So in the event they attempt to contact me again, you'll absolutely be seeing a new complaint filed if they contact me via phone since I've asked them not to.
