On XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX issued a credit card to a thief in Florida. I live in NJ, never live in FL. After I called XXXX, I faxed a file and sent 2 mails to dispute it. the documents included NJ driver license, home equity loan bill with NJ property address, and my NJ utility bill to prove that I never live in FL. XXXX did not have any response. I hired a lawyer to send similar document to XXXX & Equifax in XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. These 2 companies completed investigation without any change. Equifax even did not remove all of FL addresses generated by thief. Even credit unions ' report along shows 3 evidences that XXXX and the 2 report companies did poor job. 1. Credit report shows 2 reports from XXXX for the same fraud account. One report shows every payment is OK. The other one shows 4 late payments. Two reports show opposite results. 2. The account had more than {$3000.00} balance in XX/XX/XXXX. I don't think that the thief would pay the balance. The balance is XXXX since XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX was cheating on this balance. 3. XXXX 's report made credit union companies believe that I paid off the balance, so that the fraud account belongs to me.
