XX/XX/2021. I applied for an apartment at XXXX XXXX. I was charged for {$420.00} total and advised it was refundable. {$120.00} is application fees and {$300.00} was admission fee by verbal, I was over charged for the fees base on their website, app {$100.00} and XXXX {$200.00} They gave my desired unit away and gave me something I dont like and I asked for refund on XX/XX/2021. The listing agent XXXX said its non refundable once the application is approved. I asked to withdraw the application if I cant get the unit that I want and I was not advised with the refund policy, I felt I got scam because they refused to show me other units and told me theres no unit left. They push me the sign the lease for 16 months in order to get my {$420.00} back. I told them I will dispute it with the bank. Then my bank gave me a temporary credit on XX/XX/XXXX and it reversed on XX/XX/2021 because the merchant made fake documents and sent to the bank to get the back. I asked to see the documents and The merchant had never showed me the documents in person or by mail including return policy and somehow all documents was electronic signed and I know I did not sign anything since the day XXXX applied. I put in my application because I was told its refundable. Now in XXXX I received a debt collector from XXXX XXXX for {$470.00} meanwhile they already took the money from my account. This is a misconduct business what they did, first took my money and gave my unit away and refused to refund and contacted debt collection saying I owe them money because I dispute it with my bank. My bank already paid the merchant on XX/XX/XXXX. Now Im trying to get the portion money back from the merchant because I was being overcharged for the fees. And my bank cant do much to get the whole amount back since the merchant responded back with fake documents. I called the debt collection office today and advised that this debt has already been paid and spoke to agent name XXXX at XXXX XX/XX/2021 he asked me to contact soleste XXXX . Im going to send the email to the property manager XXXX to advise him that to remove me from the debt because the money has already taken from the bank account.
