Equifax is the most irresponsible credit bureau in the USA. I ordered a free credit monitor and canceled, they still charged me a fee of {$19.00}. I called this morning and they told me I had to load a state ID and also send in a live picture of myself to prevent fraud. I wish they were this thorough when they deducted the amount from my debit card. They are very irresponsible, I have a state ID and I have to go outside to take a picture, I am currently homeless and staying in a temporary location, I dont have the luxury of taking a picture in privacy, As soon as I woke up I called and they informed me they need all this documentation to refund my money. They go the extra mile for a refund and meanwhile they dont even protect your information.
