XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX, CA wouldn't adjust my charges despite appeals that they were grossly over-stated. I ultimately paid the bills because the collection agency threatened my credit score if I didn't pay. The collection agency, California Business Bureau ( " CBB '' ), said that they would not make derogatory claims to the credit agencies if I paid the balance and any derogatory notices to the credit reporting agencies would be rescinded from my record. That still hasn't occurred and my credit score is suffering. They made 3 " Major Derogatory '' claims against my credit on XX/XX/21, XX/XX/21 and XX/XX/21 - all of which were excessive and have not be rescinded.
