Medical Data Systems is billing for XXXX XXXX for a bill where the hospital failed to bill my insurance despite me providing my card at the time of service. I have spoke with both companies with my insurance on the line who also spoke with them however they refuse to acknowledge the mistake. I told them I have no problem paying my co-pays but I'm not responsible for their employee not doing her job when I went to the ER in XXXX of 2019. I have been battling this for over a year. Who advocates for patients when the hospital fails to do their job. I've had the same insurance for over 10 years and always keep my card on me. Plus I had a friend ride with me to the hospital who was present when I provided my insurance.
