On XX/XX/2021, I traded in my vehicle to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX my car payment from my previously lien holder ( Flagship Credit Acceptance ) was due on XX/XX/2021. After trading my vehicle I received several calls from Flagship and I stated that I no longer have possession of the vehicle, I signed documentation to trade my vehicle. Several times Flagship still contacted me about the payment of the vehicle, I had no idea that the vehicle was still not properly paid off. I tried to contact XXXX XXXX several times, I even went to the dealership was never able to get in contact with anyone in the financial dept. The only person to my assistance was my sales rep XXXX. He tried to figure of why the car still was not paid off, he was really good with communication. He stated the financial manager stated it will be taken care of. However, the bank delayed the funds to XXXX XXXX which caused a delay in the car being payed off. XXXX told me the manager XXXX would contact me because of how upset I was. I called XXXX to see the status of the car loan they told me it was paid off XX/XX/XXXX, or XX/XX/XXXX I believe. I was relieved until I seen my credit score dropped Tremendously, because of the 30 day past due on this account. It was not my fault, I no longer had possession of the vehicle. I really wish Flagship would consider removing the delinquency of the account. I was a good customer with good payment history, and I was unaware of the trading process due to this being my first trade in. I feel both companies are in the wrong and it is causing me to have an effect.
