Account Information : Mortgage Servicer Information : Gregory Funding, LLC XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, Oregon XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, TX XXXX To Whom It May Concern : XXXX XXXX XXXX transferred my home mortgage to Gregory Funding in XXXX of XXXX. Currently, I am in the process of trying to pay the mortgage off. I have reached out to Gregory Funding for the past year and feel I have not been able to receive satisfactory information concerning the mortgage. I initially contacted XXXX XXXX but was told no other information was available as it had been transferred to Gregory Funding. According to paperwork Ive obtained from the credit bureau and from Gregory Funding the amount of the mortgage originated in XX/XX/XXXX was {$130000.00}. I have reached out to Gregory Funding and XXXX XXXX to obtain the correct information and the payoff amount on many occasions but have not been able to receive the correct amount that was actually owed since XX/XX/XXXX because according to the documents the original mortgage amount in XXXX was {$130000.00}. To date from XX/XX/XXXX until the present time XX/XX/XXXX I have paid Gregory Funding approximately {$120000.00}. The interest rate is 6 %. I received a payoff statement from Gregory Funding for {$140000.00} several months ago and have spoken with many of the staff but still havent received the correct information. Over the last year I have reached out to the headquarters many times, tried to speak with someone in management to see I can get the correct amount. The number at the headquarters located in XXXX, Oregon goes to an answering machine and no one returns your call. The wait on the office phone located in XXXX Oregon is normally over an hour or more, and when someone gets on the line the information that is received is normally not what you request. I have had several calls just dropped after holding for way over an hour. I have waited several months for another payoff statement after I told them that the original mortgage amount was {$130000.00} in XXXX ; and that is not the amount that should have been transferred in XXXX. It should have been much lower. I have not gotten any additional information from them. From what I understand they are plagued with lawsuits for mishandling customers accounts, mortgage balances not correct and not providing correct information concerning mortgages that they hold. I have enclosed a copy of a lawsuit that theyre trying to settle now due to them violating the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. I certainly hope your organization can help me obtain correct information relative to my mortgage so I can pay it off! Thanks for any consideration, given this request.
