I submitted a complaint to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau on XXXX XXXX about an account Wells Fargo Dealer Services that is showing up inaccurately on my credit report. I filed an identity theft report with the FTC because this account is not mine and should not be appearing on my credit report. I received a letter from Wells Fargo Dealer Services on XXXX XXXX stating that I would receive a response from the company within 10 business days with more information about this account. It is now over 30 days past that time frame, and the only thing I received is a letter dated on XXXX XXXX stating that the fraud unit would mail a fraud packet, that I never received. It saddens me to see how unimportant false reporting is to this company and how there is a blatant disregard for victims of Identity theft in todays world. Not only is this negative report hurting my credit score, what makes it worse is that this issue has not been resolved after the many disputes and complaints that I have wasted time filing. I look forward to a solution to this problem, I really do not want to get my lawyer involved but if this issue is not fixed in a timely manner, I am left with no other choice.
