I paid off my Lease with XXXX XXXX. In fact I overpaid and was issued a refund by because I over paid. At that point I believed I was done with the lease. I was subsequently billed for excise tax a month after I traded in my car. I was not aware of this bill. I did not find out about it until I received an alert from Experian. XXXX refuses to remove the late credit report mark. I paid off my lease. I had a zero balance after they refunded my over payment. I never received the subsequent bill. XXXX XXXX told me to keep my plates because all the offices were closed due to the XXXX. I want them to remove the late payment from my report.
