XX/XX/2021 at the approximate time of XXXX XXXX. I went inside the Wells Fargo Bank located at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, Mississippi to pay the complete balance of a loan account, last four digits ending in XXXX. The teller, XXXX, name located on the receipt completed the transaction. I gave permission to her to take money from my checking account to pay off the loan. The loan balance was in the amount of {$2200.00}. Instead, she had taken the amount of {$2900.00} from my account and placed the payment on the loan amount. After the transaction was completed I left the bank. At the end of the day and after I completed a number of errands I noticed the amount on the receipt. The amount of {$2900.00} is the incorrect amount. The correct amount and the final settlement is {$2200.00} which is stated in a letter from the Wells Fargo Bank, dated XX/XX/2021. I contacted Wells Fargo Bank at XXXX XXXX, XX/XX/2021 until XXXX XXXX. talking to numerous tellers and representatives to correct the problem and return the over payment of {$750.00} to the checking account. A representative advised that it will take 45 days to return the funds to the account. Finally I requested to speak with a Compliance Officer at the bank and XXXX XXXX and a person by the name of XXXX XXXX XXXX - last name spelled the way that I heard it ) replied that they have an Escalation Department. I am in dire need of my funds. Please help me to have my funds returned to my checking account immediately. I have no income to pay utility bills, house payment, etc. basic essentials.
